Addendum

Addendum is a piece composed for IonSound Project by Cole Boillat, written for String Trio, Flute, Xylophone, and Piano. Addendum tastefully and somewhat humorously jumps from section to section, embracing the constant change, meshed themes, and contrasting ideas. In doing so, Cole composes this acoustic piece with a similar, modern mindset to his own electronic compositions.

Below is the score as well as a (slightly rough) performance from a workshop with IonSound Project at the University of Pittsburgh.

The workshop was held in December of 2017 to allow student composers to have their works performed as well as to receive professional feedback on their own compositions.

By suggestion of IonSound Project members, Cole is submitting Addendum to hopefully be performed by other professional performing groups in Pittsburgh.

IonSound Project comprises flutist Peggy Yoo, clarinetist Kathleen Costello, violinist Laura Motchalov, cellist Elisa Kohanski, and pianists Rob Frankenberry and Jack Kurutz.
